Fetal Medicine is a subspecialty of obstetrics focusing on high-risk pregnancies, involving diagnosis, treatment, and management of complications affecting the fetus, like diabetes, genetic conditions, or multiple babies, through specialized monitoring, advanced ultrasounds, prenatal tests (amniocentesis , chorionic villus sampling , fetal blood sampling ) and interventions, with FM specialists acting as consultants or primary caregivers for complex cases to improve outcomes.

Dr. Amitha, a dedicated specialist with a Master’s in Obstetrics and Gynecology, expertly navigates the complex connection between maternal and fetal health. With her extensive experience, she provides valuable insights into the mother’s condition and its impact on fetal development. Having transitioned from general obstetrics to
focus on fetal care, Dr. Amitha works closely with primary obstetricians to ensure continuous, seamless care forevery mother.
We care for fetus and mother right from the planning of pregnancy, confirmation of conception to delivery.
