The scans are done to see and evaluate whether the foetus in the womb is growing as needed. During scanning the foetus is also checked for any anomalies and informed to the treating obstetrician. Other corrective measures for foetal anomalies are treated at Nest Fetal Medicine Centre like Amniocentesis and CVS for checking genetic conditions.
