About the Doctor
Dr. Amitha Indersen did her M.D. in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the prestigious Madras Medical College, during which she received the best research paper of the year award from the OGSSI for her thesis. She did her Fellowship in Advanced Obstetric & Gynaecological Ultrasound from Mediscan, Chennai — and it was then that she found her calling in fetal medicine.
She went on to complete a 2-year Postdoctoral Fellowship in Fetal Medicine at Mediscan under the mentorship of Dr. Suresh Seshadri and Dr. Indrani Suresh. She also holds a Tamil Nadu M.G.R. Medical University Postdoctoral Fellowship in Fetal Medicine, is Fetal Medicine Foundation (UK) accredited for fetal screening protocols, further trained in Fetoscopy in Belgium, and has completed a Diploma in Fetal Therapy, Hong Kong.

Dr. Pooja Sahu is a dedicated Fetal Medicine Consultant with comprehensive training in obstetrics, prenatal diagnosis, and fetal imaging. She is committed to providing evidence-based, compassionate care to expectant parents, with a strong focus on early detection of fetal abnormalities, prenatal counseling, and individualized pregnancy management.
She completed her MBBS from Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal, followed by postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at IPGME&R and SSKM Hospital, Kolkata. She further pursued Senior Residency at AIIMS Bhubaneswar, gaining extensive experience in managing high-risk pregnancies and complex obstetric cases before completing her Fellowship in Fetal Medicine at Fernandez Hospital, Hyderabad.
